Our Team

The Hamilton Custom Homes team is comprised of construction specialists, professional designers, and communication liaisons to make this process as flawless as possible. We believe that the custom home building process should be a partnership, using our creativity and vision while walking you through the entire process hand in hand. We include ten hours of design work with our professional designer for every customer. Additionally, our two design coordinators attend each and every selection meeting with the client so that the process never feels overwhelming. At the completion of the project, we remain committed to your home's story and your satisfaction as a Hamilton Homes customer.

MEET MATT & KATIE

Matt and Katie Hamilton both walk alongside their customers through every step of the building process, ensuring that each and every Hamilton Homes project has the built-in charm and character for which they are known.

*Matt Hamilton*

Born and raised in Bryan, Texas, Matt graduated from Texas A&M University and began honing his construction craft in the Southwest. He successfully managed the construction of over 2,000 multi-family developments in Arizona, California, and Texas. In 2005, he and his wife, Katie, moved back to the Brazos Valley to raise their family and began building custom homes. Matt is well known for building beautiful, classic creations with the attention to detail and superior craftsmanship that a truly custom home not only requires, but also deserves. Matt runs his business with the values of honesty and integrity that were instilled in him during his childhood in the Brazos Valley, earning him a stellar reputation in the construction community.

*Katie Hamilton*

Katie grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to California after college to work in the media and communications industry. There, she developed an eye for the crisp, clean design of California. By seamlessly mixing the clean, contemporary designs of California with the traditional, classic lines of her Maryland childhood, she became known for her stunning transitional design work. Katie utilizes her innate design eye and love of a classic, functional, yet show-stopping home to assist clients in their selections throughout the building process.

Stacy Segner-Vasquez

Born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas, Stacy received her formal education in interior design at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, and has been practicing design in the Bryan/College Station area with By Design Interiors since 2011. With almost a decade of experience in high-end residential interiors, she enjoys creating functional, timeless, polished spaces while focusing on each client’s own interests and lifestyle.Stacy is knowledgeable in CAD and is vital in the pre-planning stage of construction, as she often scales furniture in defined spaces to ensure that the customer's dream and the architect's vision coexist in perfect harmony.

Susan Tremont

Susan Tremont, owner and lead interior designer of By Design Interiors, has been working in professional interior design in the Brazos Valley for the last 25 years. She works closely with Hamilton Homes in the areas of space planning, proportion, and knowledge of new trends, products, and services. Susan has received multiple ASID Interior Design Awards and has been recognized by the Texas Association of Builders with the award for “Best Kitchen over 1 Million” and “Overall Interior Design for a Home Over 1 Million”.

Candice Hermansen

Candice grew up in Southlake, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in marketing. Candice is currently working at Hamilton Custom Homes as a Project and Design Coordinator. Her role is crucial to our customers’ positive experience throughout the custom home building process because Candice is the keeper of all details and communication. Each week she shares with our customers exactly what’s happening on site, helping our local and out of town customers feel in the know at all times. Candice has a keen eye for detail and design and is a great asset in helping Katie make selections for customers. By having both Candice and Katie work together during the selection process, our customers are given two perspectives instead of just one, allowing all angles to be thought through and our customer’s vision to be accomplished.
